Taking orders and leads through Telegram without a CRM
When a link and a bot are enough, and the moment a real system starts paying for itself.
Small businesses are told to adopt a CRM on day one. At five leads a day that is extra work: half the time goes into filling cards rather than answering.
When Telegram is enough
Up to ten enquiries a day, one person answering, history needed for a couple of months — Telegram copes. Leads arrive through a link into the bot chat, you answer there, and the conversation keeps its context.
Bonus: the client installs nothing and registers nowhere. They already have Telegram.
How to set it up
A dedicated card for leads. Do not mix with your personal account, or in six months you will not find the right conversation among friends.
A greeting instead of a form. Three questions in the first message: what you need, by when, how to reach you. That halves the back and forth.
A ready-made greeting. A draft goes into the persona greeting by a short code: assemble the formatted text once and it reaches everyone who writes for the first time.
When a CRM starts paying off
- more than ten leads a day;
- several people answering and losing track of promises;
- you need analytics: source, conversion to payment;
- history is needed for years.
Until then an extra system only slows you down.
