What we know about you — and how to stop it
Short answer: less than you would think. Below is what the bot sees, how long data lives and how to delete the account without writing to support.
What the bot sees
Your Telegram account
The identifier, first name and username — Telegram sends them on the first /start. Phone numbers, emails and documents are never requested or stored.
Messages in groups
Only what moderation needs: text is checked by filters as it arrives. The log records what the bot reacted to: a violation, a triggered auto-reply, a welcome for a newcomer. Separately we keep member identifiers — the captcha and the warning counter do not work without them; they are erased once the bot leaves the group. Message texts are not stored.
Incognito conversations
Those live with us — otherwise we could not show them in the app. You see who wrote to you; they never see you.
How long data lives
Conversations and posts
180 days. What you delete disappears from view at once and is erased for good by that date.
Moderation log and tickets
One year: without it a disputed ban cannot be reviewed.
Snippets saved in the bot chat
24 hours if never used; 180 days once used.
Backups
Up to 60 days in a private bucket at a third-party storage provider in Russia: key-based access only, no public link. The service itself runs in Switzerland.
Deleting the account
One step
The /delete command in the bot chat or a button in the profile. Confirm — that is it.
The service stops immediately
Personas stop accepting messages, scheduled posts become drafts, moderation goes quiet.
90 days to change your mind
Data stays intact all that time and one button brings it back. After that the profile, conversations, posts and files are erased for good.
What remains
An anonymised record of the deletion — 180 days from the request. It is needed for handling disputes and contains none of your messages.
How it works
No passwords
Identity is proven by Telegram’s signature. We store no passwords because there are none.
Data in Switzerland
The server is in Zurich, access is by key and only for the operator.
HTTPS only
Everything between the app and the server travels encrypted.
No data selling
Data is not sold. It goes only where the service could not work without it: Telegram, which makes it run, and the backup storage that keeps an archive on our instructions.
